2011 International Artist Competition and Exhibition
This year's exhibit opening was a great success. Because of the involvement from the Sendai Tourism Board and the mayor's, we were able to bring 15 artists from all over the world to Sendai. With more tha 40 works of art on display, our small gallery is has never been so full at one time.
The opening reception was held at a nearby coffe shop for refreshments, then everyone walked over to the gallery. I think that everyone involved was happy with how everything turned out for this speical opening.
I would also like to take the time now to thank every artist who entered the competition as well as those 'behind the scenes' and my office staff who made this exhibition possible.
